»»markings: She has a purple tattoo of a stag killing a wolf across her mid-back. It is a metaphor for her, the prey-animal fighting back against the more dangerous creature (the Emperor).

»»general appearance: She is a wisp of a girl, though the strength in her stance is amazing.
She wears men's clothes most of the time and prefers to keep her black hair cut in a longer bob cut. Her eyes change depending on her mood, they often have a tinge of purple in them, especially when she is angry or happy. When she is sad or calm her eyes shift to a cooler slate grey. She often has her mouth and nose covered, and wears some sort of hood so that she can pass in public without being recognized. However, when she is in a safe area, or what she views as safe, which the only place that she could consider that is her camp, she tends to remove her mask and hood.
She rarely wears dresses or any sort of fancy footwear. Preferring riding boots to anything else, and usually finding the voluminous dresses of the women of Perish, only to get in the way. She likes to have the ability to twist and bend without the fear of showing the world her undergarments. She does however enjoy wearing corsets when she doesn't need to have a flat chest.
Standing far under five feet and weighing under 100 pounds, Devnet is tiny but she carries herself with determination and power when she is allowed to. Considering almost everyone dwarfs her, it is quite a feat that she can appear taller, at least in an intangible way, to almost everyone she governs.
Her voice is a soft alto, almost could be considered husky. She often keeps it at a soft tone, and it is usually impossible to tell her gender when she is normally speaking depending on how she is dressed, however when she is belting out orders it grows very female and very powerful.
She can often be found with a single scimitar in her hand. If she is not able to use her powers at the time she will often unsheathe her nine inch long dagger to use against her opponent.
»»general Soul appearance: Rascal is Devnet's Soul. He is a huge male elk, who is always in the boned stage of his antler growth. He is large enough ride, standing at 6 feet tall at the shoulder and weighing in at around 2000 pounds. His fur is slick like a deer's hide down around his body while his neck ruff is thick and soft, like freshly spun sherpa wool. His general coloring around his shorter hairs is a darker grey with brown undertones, while his neck ruff is a deep maple syrup brown with black ticking. He has to stand in direct sunlight for someone to be able to see the under coat colors and ticking but when he does, it's a sight to behold to just understand how complex his coloring is. His eyes match that of Devnet's, and often off set her colors. So when he's calm and sad he has more purple tinge, when he's angry or happy his eyes change to that slate grey.

»»general personality:Devnet is a strong leader, though her size seems to throw people off, she is often underestimated because of her tiny figure and she hates this fact. People disrespect her, in Dev's eyes at least, when they first meet her and it's one of her pet peeves. However, though she could be considered a person with somewhat of a napoleon-complex she is very understanding as an Empress. She leads with fairness, respect, and justice for everyone who she sees return such views.
Dev gets attached to people very, very slowly. She views everyone as someone she needs to protect and technically serve. She doesn't view leading her people as controlling them, more like serving them. She doesn't trust easily, very few people can get closer to her than being seen as a subject of her Kingdom. However, this does not mean she doesn't love all her people, it just is a very different kind of love than felt for anyone who would be a friend or possibly a lover.
She is what could be considered an adrenaline-junkie. It's not horrible, she won't start fights without any reason to. However, with her strong need to put herself in danger and feel that adrenaline high, she will search out situations to put herself in that could kill her if they escalate too far. If Dev is in a fight and ends up on the wrong side of someone's sword it only fuels her excitement.
Devnet strongly believes in using everything, absolutely everything, on an animal you have killed. She also doesn't believe in killing senselessly, which is why the Rebellion is so hard on her mentally. It hurts her to put her own people in danger, and possibly kill them, just to dethrone the Emperor. Though she knows it is a necessary evil.
When someone gains her respect and friendship she is extremely loyal. She can be mentally-beaten over and over again and it often won't shake her loyalty to that person. It takes something serious to shake her faith in someone. Dev may be extremely intelligent, but her friends are far and few between so she tends to turn a blind eye to what they do when she finds one.
Dev is considered a talented Storm Elementalist, which means she has Mastered the three elements which allows her to call forth powerful storms at will.
»»general Soul personality: Rascal is Dev's Soul and the only one who is allowed to call her Devnet unless she has specifically introduced herself as Devnet to said person. However Rascal is a trickster when it comes to his Tethered and will often tell people her true name just to see her first off get confused and then very hostile. However much of a prankster he may be to Dev he is the most loyal being she has ever met. Not just with her either, if he likes someone and becomes their friends he will forever come to their aid.
He is much more forgiving than Dev and often calms her when she's in a fuss, making her see the better side of things and often making her think clearer so that she doesn't do something she'd regret. He truly is her better-half. He knows just the thing to say to make her crack a huge smile in the times of the worst stress. Rascal is a devilish elk however, and once someone has broken that easily won trust, his wrath is swift, even if he doesn't hold many grudges.
He is more likely to walk away from someone and never talk to them again than to physically injure someone, however if someone has truly hurt him or Dev in any way, he will make them regret it. Usually he doesn't just stop with physical injury, though he does add that like frosting on top of a cake, he does brutal emotional and mental trauma until that person is begging for forgiveness. Which he ends up giving in the end. If it were Dev's choice she'd just wash her hands of the person and be done.

She was never meant to take the throne, her older brother, Tyvone was the heir apparent, yet everything got thrown into chaos thirty years ago. When she was merely a babe, Devnet Anghard was no longer and Dev Wilder became her replacement.
Thirty years ago there was a raid on Castle Perran. The usurper, who is now known as the current Emperor of the Perran Kingdom, had many allies. So many with them that they overwhelmed the Kingdom's Guard and overthrew the True Royal Family. No allies of the True Royal Family could make it in time to save them from being publicly executed. All except Devnet, who was playing at a friend's house that night, and was scheduled to return later that night. When news of the raid reached the ears of her loyal friend's family, they quickly sent Devnet away.
Under the cover of a smuggler's buggy Devnet was sent away to a very loyal follower of the Royal Family. His name was Victor Wilder, he had been her teacher for elemental magic and all the basics of the other magics since she was able to read. Victor became her protector and guardian for much of her life. She relied on him to keep her safe for the longest time.
When she became twenty-five she showed so much progression and strength with her magical skills that the Rebellion seemed possible. Never before had someone been strong enough to fight against the new Emperor to the point where they could gather enough followers to make it possible. Even as he lost his Soul, his magical strength was still amazingly powerful and could only be matched by someone of extreme skill.
Dev was just that. The way she excelled in her magic was amazing for one her age, and how quickly she absorbed new stances was just as startling. She absorbed magical knowledge like a sponge and already she is the master of three elements even though she's not even forty. She studies magic much like a science, learning that mixing certain types of magic can bring out different results.
At thirty years of age she became the official Empress and force behind the Rebel movement. However much of the Rebellion is still locked within the shadows, and she plans on keeping it that way until the time is perfect to strike.
